Rebecca Casey

Rebecca Casey is a Principal, and Director of SMRT’s Health & Wellness Practice. She brings more than 30 years of architectural experience to the role, including more than 20 years dedicated to healthcare design across the full continuum of care.

Rebecca’s work spans community-based clinics and medical office buildings to acute care facilities, psychiatric environments, and master planning. Regardless of the scale, her approach remains consistent: listen carefully, integrate research-based concepts that support health and wellbeing, and develop designs that are flexible enough to serve organizations as their care models evolve.

She is skilled at aligning diverse client objectives with current regulations, clinical data, and the expertise of an interdisciplinary team, guiding complex projects toward high-performance outcomes that are operationally functional, financially sound, and have a positive impact on the human experience.
